The Socialist Party’s in-house paper, The Socialist, ran a number of reasonably encouraging reports on freshers’ fairs around the country here.
Exeter’s fair wasn’t til after the paper came out, but we did rather nicely too – 49 members and over a hundred contacts, a lot of interest in the Campaign to Defeat Fees too, and a good response from overseas students which was very encouraging.
